Violinist
Lea Brückner has performed across Europe, in cities such as Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Tallinn, Mallorca, and Rome. In January 2026 she gave her debut in the big hall at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. As a soloist she performed with the Munich Symphony Orchestra in March 2026.
In 2023/2024, she was the host of the concert series Green Monday at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, which was awarded the OPUS KLASSIK 2024 in the category “Innovation Prize for Sustainability.”
In August 2024, she released her debut album Pangea with Oehms Classics/Naxos.
Her unique concert formats, such as The Living Classic*, bring classical music into the 21st century.

Lea holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, and additionally earned a second Master’s degree in Cultural and Media Management at KMM in Hamburg.
As a musician, Lea embraces versatility and does not believe in the profile of a 21st-century artist who focuses solely on music while remaining detached from society.
Since 2021, she has combined her passion for music with a strong commitment to sustainability, notably through her initiative Music for our Planet.
As a cultural climate ambassador, Lea has been invited to speak at prestigious events such as the United Nations World Food Forum in Rome, the German Bundestag, the Impact Day Festival in Tallinn, and the international classical music fair Classical:Next. She also leads sustainability workshops for organizations including the Sustainability Action Network and Classical:Next.

Two musical worlds meet here: Lea Brückner’s roots in classical music encounter Gábor Ladányi’s roots in jazz, Gypsy jazz, Balkan music, and improvisation. A particular concern of the duo is direct exchange with the audience. Alongside the stories their music tells, their concerts also convey a personal message about sustainability and responsible stewardship of nature. Lea Brückner says: “Sustainability and nature are part of my personal story. As musicians, we have the opportunity and the responsibility to use our voice – and I want to use mine for this cause.”

Pangea, which is violinist Lea Brückner’s debut album, combines the ideas of expanding and illuminating the diversity of classical music. The selection of works takes the listener on a journey through nine countries, musical styles such as impressionism, minimalism and jazz, and displays the influence of folklore on composers.
Well-known names such as Maurice Ravel, Arvo Pärt and Béla Bartók are complemented by Aleksey Igudesman and his dramatic Flamenco Fantasy, together with works by Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, and William Kroll. Another highlight is the famous Melody by Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk. Lea Brückner is accompanied by pianist Tamilla Guliyeva and guitarist Gábor Ládanyi.
